My name is Teun Plessers, a 21-year-old Bachelor’s student in Archaeology at KU Leuven, currently in my third year. My main interests are field archaeology and metal detecting. I have already gained experience through archaeological fieldwork in Lommel and Portugal. Through the Grounded Memories project I would like to further explore metal detecting, with a particular interest in the stories and experiences of detectorists.
