NeXED aims to facilitate a paradigm shift in ED assessment by addressing the following Research Objectives.
NeXED Research Objectives:
- Objective 1: Provide new mechanistic knowledge and approaches to strengthen cross-species ED assessment using a One Health approach for environmental and human health
- Objective 2: Gain insight into interaction among endocrine axes in complex exposure mixtures including analysis of the exposome in order to improve environmental realism in ED assessment
- Objective 3: Develop novel approaches for ED assessment such as the assessment of non-EATS modalities, the development of invertebrate tests, and advanced metabolomics approaches
These objectives correspond to three scientific work packages and are addressed in 15 individual research projects.
