NeXED aims to facilitate a paradigm shift in ED assessment by training the next generation of interdisciplinary toxicologists specialised in using harmonised approaches across species in a One Health framework, no longer approaching assessment of chemicals from either a human or an environmental health perspective.
Our training programme will equip 15 Doctoral Candidates with the required knowledge and skills to develop and apply new test methods and approaches for the assessment of endocrine disruption and meet current and future regulatory requirements. NeXED will train its 15 doctoral candidates through research, secondments and training events using an interdisciplinary and intersectoral training programme focusing on research knowledge and skills as well as transferable skills.
