“Dealing with uncertainty: crises, governance structures and future imaginaries for European societies”
The STRATEGO Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence at the University of Antwerp is organising a PhD workshop on October 2nd, 2025, titled “Dealing with uncertainty: crises, governance structures and future imaginaries for European societies”.
The workshop will entail short presentations by PhD students on their ongoing work, with feedback on their submitted drafts and discussion guided by our guest, prof. dr. Kutsal Yesilkagit from Leiden University. Other professors from the STRATEGO consortium will also be present to contribute with their feedback.
Submissions are welcome on topic such as - but not limited to - multi-level governance, crisis governance, public institutions, regulatory governance, government capacity, and more broadly the societal impact of policies.
Please subscribe by sending an abstract of max. 500 words to: chiara.russo@uantwerpen.be by September 15th. A developed draft can be submitted for feedback a week before the workshop.
As we aim to provide extended feedback on the current work of PhD students, this event will be limited to a max. of 10 participants. We look forward to having you in Antwerp!
