What joint research do we host?
- Joint participation of several groups in research projects, mainly through bids in international programs.
- On-demand research assignments for companies, authorities and associations.
- The individual network members have each built up top expertise in some domains of transportation science (e.g. port and maritime economics, network planning, transport engineering, design and construction, safety), none of the members spans the entire field. By carefully selecting the partners for each of the three themes proposed, the network will be able to offer a full and global product for research as well as for academic education in the field of transportation.
- The most important element for setting up this network was that the partners guarantee quality and commitment. Therefore the building of the network will be a gradual process with, at regular intervals, moments of evaluation and quality control.
