Consultancy fees

In order to fulfill our mission of facilitating scientific research and increasing international visibility of research findings, we equally welcome researchers from the University of Antwerp and other organizations to approach us for statistical support. As summarized in the table below, the hourly fee for project-based consultancy depends on the organization and the complexity of the statistical support. Consultancy is provided either by a member of the StatUa team or, when highly specialised expertise is required, by an external statistical expert from the StatUa network. In the latter case, different consultancy rates apply. The appropriate consultancy route is determined after the initial consultation.

 It should be noted that the first 5 hours of consultancy for PhD researchers at the University of Antwerp is covered by the Antwerp Doctoral School, and therefore free of charge.

Authorship

Consultancy fees are independent of authorship. If a StatUa consultant makes a substantial intellectual contribution to a research project, co-authorship may be appropriate in accordance with accepted principles of good academic practice.co-authorship, which is expected if the consultant has made a substantial intellectual contribution to the quality of the work – in accordance with good academic practice.
