Accounting Research Day

The Department of Accountancy and Finance of the University of Antwerp kindly invites you to the next Accounting Research Day on March 26, 2026.
This one-day workshop aims to provide accountingscholars a platform to share and discuss recent research. We kindly invite you to submit papers in anyareas of financial accounting, auditing, management accounting, and related research fields. Weespecially welcome contributions by PhD students.
Submission guidelines and deadlines
Authors should submit their full-length papers in electronic format to ARD2026@uantwerpen.be to beconsidered for presentation. Only papers written in English will be considered. The deadline forsubmission is January 31, 2026. Authors will be notified of acceptance by February 28, 2026.
Program
The invited keynote speaker for this event is Professor Matthias Breuer (Goethe University Frankfurt).A detailed program will be announced by the beginning of March. Discussants will be allocated to papersaccording to expertise and availability. Therefore, we expect presenters to be willing to also serve as adiscussant.
Venue and conference fee
The conference takes place at the University of Antwerp, Cloister of the Grauwzusters: Lange Sint-Annastraat 7, 2000 Antwerpen. It’s a 10-minute walk from the Central Railway Station.The conference fee of €85 includes coffee breaks and lunch.
