What we do

The Centre for the Evaluation of Vaccinations (CEV): a clinical trial centre, specialized in the conduct of vaccine trials:

⇒ Phase I until phase IV trials.
⇒ Trials for a range of companies.
⇒ In all age groups (from infants till elderly).
⇒ Pre-licensing vaccine trials.
⇒ Evaluating vaccine uptake and the operational aspects of vaccination.
⇒ Behavioural studies and basic vaccine research.

We conduct vaccine trials related to:

  • vaccine safety
  • reactogenicity
  • immunogenicity and efficacy
  • assessment of different dosages, schedules, formulations
  • long-term follow-up
  • mathematical modelling of the persistence of antibodies induced by different vaccines

In infants and toddlers

In specific risk groups

  • hepatitis B vaccine in institutionalised mentally retarded
