The department of Economics also provides outstanding training in economics for both an academic and professional career by offering a specialized Master in Economic Policy.
This Master’s programme helps students to analyse the wide range of problems facing economic policy makers and to understand the background to political decision-making. The program offers students an advanced knowledge of micro-economics, macro-economics, econometrics and philosophy of economics. The graduate seminar in economics exposes students to research by visiting professors, PhD students and staff members of the faculty. Additionally, students take electives in specific, policy relevant topics of economic policy.
