On November 20th, 2025, the Jongerenstemtest team received the Prize for Societal Engagement from the University of Antwerp! The judgment of the jury read:

"Under the leadership of Prof. Stefaan Walgrave, researchers from political science, communication science, and data analysis joined forces to develop the Youth Voting Test. Its aim was to guide young people and first-time voters through the political landscape in an accessible and approachable way ahead of the June 2024 elections. The result was a scientifically grounded and user-friendly tool that enhanced political knowledge, as well as strengthened political self-confidence and voting motivation, especially among young people from vulnerable groups. The Youth Voting Test is a powerful example of how academic research can lead to tangible societal impact."
