Tuesday 16 December (11:00–12:00), MIGLOBA welcomes Prof. Dr. Simone Paoli (University of Pisa) for his presentation “Migration flows in the Central Mediterranean: a historical perspective”.
In this talk, Prof. Paoli will discuss the historical development and current state of migration flows in the central Mediterranean as well as future challenges, starting with the aftermath of World War II, when the main direction of human mobility in that area shifted from North‑South to South‑North.
