'Samuel Beckett: Works for Radio' 4-CD set, published by the British Library. 

To coincide with Samuel Beckett's birthday (April 13th) RTE Radio One will broadcast Gare St Lazare Players new productions of The Beckett Radio Plays from April 10th - 15th. Directed by Judy Hegarty Lovett and produced by Aidan Matthews the plays feature the voices of Ally Ni Chiarain, Denis Conway, John Kavanagh, David Kelly, Conor Lovett, Louis Lovett, Anna Manahan, Mark O'Regan, Annie Ryan, Catherine Walsh, Michael West. There are six plays by Beckett ; All That Fall, Embers, Cascando, Words & Music and Roughs for Theatre I & II as well as The Old Tune, Beckett's translation of La Manivelle by Robert Pinget. Internet users should be able to listen live and stream them during the week of broadcast.

Claddagh Records is proud to announce the re-issue of MacGowran Speaking Beckett, now for the first time on CD. Spoken by Jack MacGowran, the work was recorded under the personal supervision of Samuel Beckett, with incidental music by his sons. Beckett on Film premiered Sept. 15, 2002 at 10:00 PM (EST) and Jan. 1, 2003 at 9:30 PM (EST). Jeremy Irons hosted two special evenings showcasing new film adaptations of the plays of Samuel Beckett. Seven short works and on January 1st, Beckett's masterpiece, Waiting for Godot, were performed and directed by leading names of stage and screen. All 19 plays ofBeckett on Film are available on DVD in a four-disc boxed set for $149.99. The Beckett canon of 19 plays was first staged at the Gate Theatre in Dublin in 1991 and was brought to New York in 1996, under the artistic direction of Michael Colgan.  The rights to film the whole Beckett canon were awarded for the first time ever to RTÉ and Michael Colgan. San Quentin Drama Workshop has produced a six hour reading of Murphy, directed by R. S. Bailey and produced by Rick Cluchey. A packet of CDs, using 18 actors in voice portraits of Beckett's crazy comic novel, the text is narrated by Fionnula Flanagan, with Colm Meaney as Murphy. Voz (Voice), Spain, 2000, 35mm, 80', the first feature film in a single shot, directed by Javier Aguirre, with one of the greatest Spanish actors, Fernando Fernán-Gómez, in the role of the protagonist, premièred on 15 March 2001 in the CINE ESTUDIO del Círculo de Bellas Artes de Madrid. This is the first screen version of Beckett's Company, based on translation/adaptation of the novel by Dr Antonia Rodriguez Gago.
