  • Congrats to Natan van Wichelen for securing the Best Poster award, and to Tim Boogaerts for bringing home the Best Presentation award at Testing The Waters 6 in Oxford!
  • Available PhD position in Analytical Chemistry and Toxicology to investigate the bioavailability of legacy and emerging PFAS in a terrestrial food chain along a PFAS pollution gradient. The PhD student will work at the Toxicological Centre of the University of Antwerp in the frame of the project “Bioavailability and toxicity of legacy and emerging per- and polyfluoralkylated substances (PFAS) in a terrestrial food chain: effects at different levels of biological organisation (BIOTOX-Terra)”.   • Previous weekend, the little children present at Nerdland Festival discovered the wastewater system together with our PhD-students Maarten Quireyns, Natan Van Wichelen and Tim Boogaerts. In our pop-up lab, they were able to perform experiments on their own wastewater samples together with their parents. Thank you Nerdland and Uantwerpen - Wetenschap voor iedereen for providing us with the opportunity to present our wastewater-based epidemiology research!
