About Bart Maes

Bart Maes is a PhD researcher affiliated with the research group Media, Movements & Politics (M²P). He has a background in psychology and political science. His research focuses on how political elites handle public opinion. In his doctoral thesis, he aims to examine the mental schemes politicians employ when confronted with public opinion signals and how this impacts their behavior.
