Fien De Malsche is a PhD candidate in the Grammar and Pragmatics (GaP) research group at the University of Antwerp. She graduated with an MA in Linguistics and Literature from Ghent University in 2018, and completed an MA in Language and Society at the University of Amsterdam in 2019. Her research interests are situated within the fields of sociolinguistics and linguistic pragmatics, and she is currently examining language policy within the institutionalized context of the international and multilingual corporate firm in Belgium using a linguistic ethnographic approach.
