Dr. Giulia Poma PhD MSc (Female) gained her doctoral degree in Environmental Sciences in 2014. She is a post-doc researcher (> 5-year post-doc experience at the TC-UA) specialized in the assessment of human exposure (dietary intake and dust ingestion/inhalation) to legacy and emerging chemicals, and of chemical safety of food and edible insect. She is currently involved in the Flemish Environment and Health Biomonitoring program, HBM4EU project (European Human Biomonitoring Initiative), INTERWASTE RISE, ENTOBIOTA, PARCLINTA and INCH4U projects.

Since 2020 she is the research manager of the Exposome Centre of Excellence.
