In 2015 Inès Rivière obtained her master's degree in law with great distinction at the University of Antwerp. In 2016 she obtained her master's degree in tax law, also with great distinction. Currently she works as a mandate assistant in tax law within the research group Government and Law.

She writes a PhD about the burden of proof in tax law under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Nicole Plets.

She is responsible for the bachelor course Practical Tax Law.

Previously Inès worked as a tax consultant at an international consultancy firm (2016-2017).
