Jasper Segerink (°1997) graduated from the University of Antwerp in 2020. Since Octobre 2020 he is working at the University of Antwerp within the Centre for Urban History (CSG) on his PhD-project ‘Accommodating (im)mobility. Spaces of accommodation as hubs between global migration flows and local urban life, 1850-1930’ under the supervision of Hilde Greefs and Greet De Block. The project aims to unravel the opportunities to unravel the opportunities and challenges related to the arrival in a city by investigating spaces of accommodation as infrastructural complexes of arrival.
