Johanna Greiss is researcher in the field of European Social Policy at the Centre for Social Policy Herman Deleeck. Currently, she works on her doctoral thesis on the balance between benevolent social action on the local level and the right-based enforcement of adequate minimum income on the national level and on the role of the EU herein. Johanna holds a magister diploma in Philosophy and a master’s diploma in European Studies. Before being recruited by the University of Antwerp she has worked at the European University Viadrina, at the European Parliament and at the International Trade Union House in Brussels.
