Expertise
I am Research manager of the µNEURO Research Centre of Excellence of the University of Antwerp, a multidisciplinary consortium that unites experts in fundamental, preclinical and clinical research on neurological diseases and quantitative multimodal imaging and analysis experts. With a helicopter view on the complementary research lines and expertise of the µNEURO groups, I identify collaboration opportunities between the µNEURO members and other research groups, within the University and beyond. I initiate and manage new and existing projects within µNEURO and with external partners, identify new funding opportunities and support the writing of research proposals. I am also actively involved in the communication of novel research findings and tools within µNEURO, to the scientific community and to the general public.
