Milan Dupont is a researcher with the Social History of Finance project (Centre for Urban History). He focuses on the social and political history of savings banks in Belgium and the Netherlands (1865–1914), with a specialization in the technical and strategic aspects of collecting and utilizing large datasets. He is also responsible for organizing seminars, workshops, and conferences. He is a historian and political scientist; his theses respectively addressed the construction of the concept of the linguistic border and the link between localism and global climate issues.
