Intrauterine hypoxia and neonates. 01/01/1991 - 31/12/1991

Abstract

Some sudden infant death cases could be explained by changes of the autonomic NS, due to intrauterine hypoxia. 100 study- and 100 control neonates are compared as to their reactions (resp. heartrate, bloodpressure, saturation, sleepstate) to tone, ice, postural change, pain, eyeball pressure and biochemistry (dopamine-B-OH, chromogranine A, met-enkephalin, nor-and adrenaline).
