Thomas Janssen is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Antwerp, Belgium. He received his Master's degree in Applied Engineering: Electronics-ICT from the University of Antwerp, in 2018. He received his Ph.D. degree on energy-efficient positioning for the Internet of Things from the same university in 2023. He is currently working towards a sustainable space at the IDLab - imec research group and serves as a teaching assistant at the University of Antwerp. His main interests are Low Earth Orbit (LEO) communication, localization and Earth Observation.
