About Vanessa Joosen

Vanessa Joosen teaches and researches English literature and children's and young adult literature. She holds expertise on fairy tales, the translation of children's literature, age studies and Digital Humanities. In the past, she led the ERC-funded project "Constructing Age for Young Readers." She is currently a member of Metrodora, the university's centre for Health Humanities, and Famflex, a consortium that studies complex families from several scholarly angles.
