The elaboration and the implementation of the deontology in big law firms against the background of structural changes in the lawyers' practice.
AbstractThe growth of law firms and the emergence of new partnerships have strained the profession's individualistic approach to lawyer regulation. To what extent had the rationalization of law firm management extented to the creation of specialized structures for self-regulation? What are the incentives? How effective are (in)formal procedures and structures in promoting ethical conduct within law firms (in comparison with the traditional practice of the `sole practitioner')?
