Wouter Schelfhout has experience in education as a teacher, pedagogical director, member of the Flemish education inspectorate. He is senior lecturer Didactics of Economics/Law, General Didactics, School, Policy and Society at the Antwerp School of Education, FSW. He is chairman of Didactica research group, in which he conducts research into school and professional development policy, educational leadership and teaching of economics. He is vice-chairman of the Center for Continuing Education (CNO) of the University of Antwerp and co-chairman of the Flemish Forum for Educational Research (VFO).
