All candidates should apply for admission prior to the enrolment at the University of Antwerp. Only after approval by the academic board, the registration procedure at the registration’s office of the University of Antwerp can be started.

The admission and enrolment procedure consists of different steps: admission procedure (step 1), when approved, a pre-registration (step 2) and registration (step 3) at University of Antwerp, and finally when registered as a student, the enrolment for the course modules (step 4).

Course duration and exam sessions

  • The Asia - Europe CCS is considered to be a one-year programme that cannot be spread over several academic years.
  • Students have a total of 2 exam sessions to obtain the PG Asia - Europe CCS certificate. The two exam sessions must be included in the year of enrolment.
  • The PG Asia - Europe CCS can only be taken once.

Admission procedure

By May 15, 2023 interested candidates from non-EEA countries must submit the admission file to the academic director, Ching Lin Pang (ChingLin.Pang@uantwerpen.be). For EEA students the deadline is July 15, 2023

The file consists of a letter of motivation, a project proposal on cultural curatorship of max. 5 pages excluding bibliography, a certified copy of the university diploma and a curriculum vitae. 

The dossier will be assessed by the Academic Director and Members of the Board Committee. Once the dossier is accepted the Academic Director will contact the candidate by June 15, 2023. EEA-students need to submit the admission file by July 15, 2023 and notification of acceptance is August 15, 2023.

Language requirements

If English is not your first or native language, you must provide evidence of advanced written and spoken English skills. 

Accepted minimal scores: 

  • TOEFL-TEST, with a minimal score of 72-94 
  • IELTS overall score minimal 6.5 
  • Certificate of ITACE for students with ERK score B2
