Learning outcomes
This micro-credential focuses on the following learning outcomes.
1. The participant is able to describe and explain different theoretical and methodological models for participation in heritage.
2. The participant is able to critically assess case studies of participatory heritage projects.
3. The participant is able to develop methods for evaluating participatory projects in heritage.
4. The participant is able to consider the needs, motivations and wishes of different stakeholders in relation to heritage.
5. The participant is able to design and present their own proposals for participatory projects.
Practical organisation
- Participatory Heritage: The course is delivered in a combination of lectures from the lecturer and guest lecturers, as well as applied work in the field. For the lectures, recordings are available. The students will have to prepare individual coursework as well as group work.
- Studio Cultural Brokerage: seminars and tutorials
Assessment
- Participatory Heritage: written assignment and project
- Studio Cultural Brokerage: Jury and written assignment
