Doing my LLM at the University of Antwerp widened my perspective about the world and opened me a new window of opportunities. The programme is designed to make you think critically, explore different viewpoints, and encourage you to form your opinion. The various presentations, debates, and practical exercises I did, as part of the assessment process, allowed me to develop valuable skills that facilitated finding a job after graduation. The part I enjoyed the most about my masters is how truly international it was. From the module options and the professors, who are international experts in their fields, to my classmates. This allowed for a rich multicultural learning environment, where I made friends from all over the world. The University of Antwerp gives you the opportunity to thrive as a student. Looking back, I couldn't have chosen a better place to pursue my LLM.

My LL.M. experience at the University of Antwerp has shown me the transformative power of an international and human-centered education. The professors and staff are not only highly competent; they are also deeply inspiring, committed to social causes through international partnerships and the individual histories of oppression and resistance. This program was more than just an academic experience for me; it allowed me to grow as a person. Through it, I discovered my passion for human rights. As a Brazilian, this was my first time living abroad, and it opened doors to diverse experiences that broadened my worldview. Thanks to the program's support, I had the privilege of visiting the Strasbourg Court of Human Rights and traveling to India and South Africa. I believe everyone would be enriched by having such opportunities. This journey not only inspired me to dream of a world that respects all peoples, but also provided me with the academic and professional tools to advocate for that vision. I am grateful for this chance and wish the same for all my fellow companions sharing this path, regardless of age, nationality, race, class, or gender.
