We would like to welcome all new first-year and minor students of the YUFE Joint Bachelor Urban Sustainability Studies to our Welcome day on Monday 21 September 2026! We meet in room s.R.212 (Building R, second floor > address: Rodestraat 14, 2000 Antwerp).

First year
As a first-year student in the Bachelor in Urban Sustainability Studies, we are delighted to welcome you to the University of Antwerp and to the YUFE community! During this Welcome Day, you will receive essential information about YUFE, UAntwerp, and your study programme. We will introduce you to important tools and services, including the Student Portal, and provide practical information to help you get started with your studies.
Throughout the day, you will have the opportunity to meet your fellow YUFE BUSS students, start building your international learning community, and get acquainted with the Stadscampus (City Campus) during a guided campus tour. For lunch and the campus tour, you will be joined by the second-year minor students, giving you the chance to get to know other students from the programme and exchange experiences across cohorts.

Minor students
As a minor student joining the YUFE Joint Bachelor Urban Sustainability Studies, we are pleased to welcome you to the University of Antwerp! Your day starts with a joint campus tour and lunch together with the first-year students, giving you the opportunity to meet fellow YUFE BUSS students and get acquainted with the Stadscampus (City Campus). In the afternoon, you will receive practical information about studying and living in Antwerp, university facilities and student life at UAntwerp.
You will also meet your minor coordinator and attend a dedicated session on your minor programme, where you will receive more information about your courses, the challenge course, the faculties involved, and other academic aspects of your minor programme.
