INSPIRE summer school offers an intensive 6-days programme on Safety Pharmacology in Drug Development. Built as a highly interactive and multidisciplinary course, this training consists of theoretical lectures on safety pharmacology complemented with hands-on sessions on essentials skills for researchers. This course is part of a collaborative EU-funded (MSCA ETN) European Training Network consisting of 15 Early Stage Researchers that aims to prepare a new generation of scientists that will “inspire” Safety Pharmacology by exploring new technological capabilities to addressing emerging cardiovascular safety concerns.

By taking part in this summer school, students will benefit from an in-depth insight into Safety Pharmacology and its regulatory landscape provided by leading companies and associations in the sector. Furthermore, attendees will be trained in good research practices, which are crucial for a future research career, i.e. IP management, Research Integrity, Impact plan and personal career development.
