General information
The Dynamic Testing System (DTS-30) is a versatile asphalt testing equipment offering a wide range of dynamic testing options. The DTS-30 is a servo-hydraulic testing machine utilizing digital control of a high performance servo valve to provide accurate loading wave shapes.
Various transducers are mounted in the system for measuring the parameters required, normally load, position and strain, but others, such as a crack length monitor, may sometimes be used. These transducers convert mechanical movement into standard electronic signals and, via the Control and Data Acquisition System (CDAS), provide output display on the personal computer user interface screen [1].
