Jordi Casteleyn is associate professor of Teaching Methodology Dutch, Teaching Methodology Dutch Non-Home Language and Postgraduate Teaching Dutch for non-native speakers at Antwerp School of Education, Faculty of Social Sciences. Within the Didactica research group, he focuses on effective reading education (see e.g. lesinlezen.be) and support for students who experience problems with the language of instruction (see e.g. taaltrajecten.be). He is also actively involved in various consultative bodies such as the Council for Dutch Language and Letters.
