Over Philip Ley

In my PhD project I am studying the microbial ecology of 'electrical ecosystems'. The key players of these sediment ecosystems are electricity-conducting cable bacteria. My work focuses on the diversity of cable bacteria and the microbial community composition in electrogenic sediments. My tools are geochemical, molecular and microscopy techniques.
