As a result of globalisation the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences pays special attention to healthcare in a global context (global health). The Faculty has a strong international dimension and organises student-centered, activating, interprofessional and internationally oriented education.

Every year many of our students go abroad to study and/or do a clinical traineeship in partner universities and hospitals in Europe and overseas. At the same time, we welcome international students from all over the world as degree, exchange or visiting research students. The Faculty also offers advanced and internationally oriented summer schools and short courses. They are a key pull factor for international students.
