The Interuniversity Test of Academic English (ITACE) assesses academic English language proficiency.
Two versions of the ITACE are currently available. Both were developed with a specific target group in mind.
- The ITACE for Students was specifically developed for students in higher education. Participants can obtain a B1, B2, C1 or C2 certificate.
- The ITACE for Lecturers was specifically developed for professors and lecturers who use English for teaching and/or research purposes. Participants can obtain a C1 certificate that is accepted by the Flemish Ministry of Education and all partner universities.
- The ITACE for CLIL Teachers is specifically designed for teachers in Flemish secondary schools who wish to teach their subjects in English. Participants can obtain a C1 certificate that is accepted by the Flemish Ministry of Education.
