Within the chair, supervisors and researchers aim to refine excellent academic knowledge related to modeling, data collection, etc., and to acquire new scientific insights and develop skills. Students gain knowledge of research results during (guest) lectures and involvement in projects. The chair allows for the emphasis on competence development. The research is not limited to (international) universities; it also contributes to the public debate.
