A Conversation on Forgotten Struggles, Challenges and Prospects
Seeking to draw attention to the ongoing conflict and consequent humanitarian crisis in North Kivu, we are inviting you to a conversation about forgotten struggles, challenges, and future prospects. Our invited speakers, Aymar Nyenyezi Bisoka (University of Mons), Bienvenu Matumo (La Lucha - Paris 8 University), and Christoph N. Vogel (University of Ghent) will discuss the evolving landscapes of armed groups, regional conflict dynamics, civil society and citizens movements, as well as regional and Congolese diplomatic responses.
One of the presentations will be in French; we can provide a short translated summary for members of the audience if needed.
