At STI-ENID 2026, we aimed to put openness into practice across different aspects of the conference: by providing access to the work presented in Antwerp, encouraging feedback and interaction, making conference outputs openly available beyond the event, and providing transparency about the peer review process.

For us, openness is not only about access, but also about interaction, continued availability, and transparency. The resources below reflect these different dimensions and provide continued access to the research and processes behind STI-ENID 2026.

STI-ENID 2026 Conference Proceedings

Openness does not end when the conference ends.

The STI-ENID 2026 Conference Proceedings are openly available on Zenodo and bring together the final versions of the accepted papers and posters presented at the conference.

Each contribution is published as an individual open-access record with its own DOI and is linked to the overarching conference proceedings. This ensures that the work presented in Antwerp remains openly available, individually discoverable, and citable beyond the conference.

Peer Review Process

Openness is not only about making research outputs accessible. We also wanted to provide transparency about the process behind the conference program itself.

We therefore compiled a factual report on the peer review process of STI-ENID 2026. The report provides a quantitative analysis of reviewer workload, scoring behavior, and decision outcomes, offering insight into how the peer review process was organized and unfolded in practice.

Presentations and Posters

During the conference, final versions of accepted papers and posters were made available through Oxford Abstracts alongside their contributions in the online program. Uploaded presentation slides and poster artwork were also made available through the platform, allowing participants to explore contributions beyond the sessions they were able to attend in person.

Oxford Abstracts also provided participants with an opportunity to leave feedback on individual contributions. This reflected another aspect of our approach to openness at STI-ENID 2026: openness as interaction - creating opportunities not only to access research, but also to engage with it and continue the conversation.
