This conference is hosted by the DigiTax Centre at the University of Antwerp. Organized and convened by the Center for Taxpayer Rights, this annual conference connects experts from diverse disciplines including government, law, economics, psychology, anthropology, and sociology, to explore how taxpayer rights globally serve as a foundation for effective tax administration and a means to promote voluntary compliance with the tax laws. The theme of this 9th conference is "Toward a Digital Taxpayer Bill of Rights", focusing on the impact of digitalization on taxpayers’ rights to transparency, fair treatment, and human intervention, as well as on the tax agency and its workforce, tax advisors, legislation and legislators, and the judiciary. You can learn more about that conference at the website of the conference.
