Survival on arrival
Soon you will start your exchange at the University of Antwerp. To help you prepare yourself for the start of your study period, the University of Antwerp and its language institute, Linguapolis, are offering ‘Survival on Arrival’, a Dutch introductory course.
This course is taught by experienced professionals who will teach you the basics of day to day conversational Dutch, so you can discuss the Belgian weather, ask for directions when exploring the beautiful city center and order some of our tasty Belgian foods and drinks (the true way to any Belgian's heart)!
Added bonus: during this course you will also get the chance to meet and practice with your fellow exchange students!
Practical
The conversation course will be organized before the orientation day in September (= 15 hours) at the Stadscampus (city centre of Antwerp). The exact period will be anounced later.
At the end of the course you will receive a certificate of attendance.
Please note that you do not receive any credits for this course. The total fee for the “Survival on Arrival” course is 85 EUR (please note that all possible bank charges are at the expense of the student).
