Antwerp has a heart for thriftshopping! In the city centre you’ll find lots of stores where you shop without feeling guilty about the climate or the amount money you’re spending. Here’s list of our favorite thriftshops:

  • Think twice: Here you can buy sustainable clothing and footwear. Think Twice works in five week cycles. Each cycle end with progressive discounts from -30% down to 1 euro day, followed by a new collection.
  • Melting Pot: here, you can buy vintage clothing, accessoires, shoes, bags, ... for 15 euros per kilo.
  • De Kringwinkel: In and around Antwerp you will find several Kringwinkels. They offer a wide range of items, from books to furniture, clothing, and bikes.
  • De Kilomeet: is an overstock store for thriftshops, a kind of outlet. Here, items that didn't sell in the Kringwinkels get a final chance. The Kilomeet is fun because you can buy all goods by the kilo or by the meter, at bargain prices!
  • Circuit: is the circular meeting center in the Nieuw Zuid district. In addition to a bicycle and electronics repair point, there's also a materials library, where you can borrow all sorts of items from drills to Wii consoles.
  • Peerby: the Peerby app is also active in Antwerp. Through peerby, you can borrow all kinds of items from people in your neighborhood.
