What is LA in teaching?
Universities use a range of virtual learning platforms that collect data which can be analysed to enhance both teaching and learning. This offers academic teaching staff valuable opportunities to develop their teaching in pedagogically meaningful, evidence-informed ways. However, even though academic teaching staff recognise its potential, the use of LA is still at an early stage.
To address some of the barriers to using LA as a tool for continuous pedagogical development and learning design, the University of Eastern Finland organises two similar online-workshops, aimed at academic staff with teaching responsibilities.
