This includes planning meetings, managing the budget, reporting, producing an internal newsletter and organising social activities. You will contribute to creating a dynamic and stimulating working environment that promotes collaborative research.
  • You will be the main point of contact for new members, young researchers, and volunteer scientific staff within your research group. You will advise temporary staff from onboarding to offboarding. You will introduce new researchers and visiting fellows to the research group, faculty and university.

When drafting project applications, you will contribute your specialist expertise in areas such as personnel budgets, science communication, ethical approval, knowledge security and data management.
  • You will oversee ongoing research projects from inception to final reporting. In collaboration with the faculty and central services, you will provide administrative support for the management of acquired research projects, including personnel administration, financial management and reporting.
  • You will be responsible for the research group's external communication, maintaining its website and social media presence. To optimise dissemination and increase visibility, you will help develop and implement an active communication strategy aimed at the general public and relevant stakeholders, such as policymakers, public sector bodies, social and business interest groups, and the media.
  • You will contribute to the internationalisation of the research group through your own initiatives and by supporting the internationalisation initiatives of its members (e.g., attending international conferences, undertaking research stays and bringing together international partners).
  • You will help to shape the valorisation of your research group's research by actively exploring valorisation opportunities and supporting the valorisation initiatives of its members.

Within the Faculty

  • You will participate in research-related consultation meetings within the Faculty and the University.
  • From within your research group you will contribute to the faculty's research policy, working alongside the Research Office and the Vice Dean for Research.
  • You will contribute to cross-research group collaboration, consulting with your fellow research coordinators from other groups on joint project applications, study days, conferences and so on.
  • Based on your knowledge and experience as a research coordinator, you provide educational support for the methodological lectures in the bachelor's and master's programmes.

Profile

  • You hold a PhD or a master’s degree supplemented by equivalent competencies acquired through experience. Your degree is preferably in the field of law. Relevant postdoctoral experience would be an advantage.
