International Staff Office

The University of Antwerp has an excellent international reputation. Today one in six of our employees comes from abroad and this number is still increasing. In total, you will find no fewer than 82 different nationalities represented at the university.

As a foreigner, it is necessary to go through several administrative procedures in order to live and work in Belgium. You can count on the advise and support of the International Staff Office to help you with this.

On this website you will find information on preparing for your stay in Belgium, what to do upon arrival, useful tips for during your stay and a summary of the issues that must be dealt with before you return home.
