Campus Poet

As the very first university in Flanders to do so, the University of Antwerp added a healthy dose of poetry to campus life with its very own campus poet. Zainab Noor el Hejazi kicked things off in 2018, followed by Esohe Weyden in 2021. In 2024, the torch was passed to Leonie Moreels. From this academic year onwards, Vince Noens will be following in their footsteps!

Every month, the campus poet works a little magic with words, capturing student life and everything happening in and around the university. All poems are published in the Rubi newsletter!
