Who does what?

Student associations operate autonomously but are supported by a multi-layered ecosystem. These are the key players:

Students

As a member, you participate in activities. Would you like to get more involved? You can take on a role as a board member with a specific function.

Associations

They organize themselves entirely independently, with their own board, budget, and communications.

STAN & domes

Umbrella organisations such as Unifac and NOVA, as well as STAN, connect student associations and provide logistical support.

UAntwerp provides support

Student associations can count on support from the Student Services department. Recognized associations have access to advice, guidance, recognition procedures, and funding opportunities. Working together with student umbrella organizations, they strive to foster a vibrant student life that brings people together.

VUAS

VUAS stands for United UAntwerp Students and represents all UAntwerp student associations.
