Building s.E - Agora

Main Entrance

The main entrance to Building s.E (Agora) is a wide automatic sliding door. This wheelchair-accessible entrance is located at the corner of Vekestraat and Grote Kauwenberg. From the underground parking, follow the signs at the lift exit towards Buildings s.B, s.C and s.E.

Building s.E can also be accessed via the entrances to Buildings s.A, s.D and s.V.

Lift

The lift in Building s.E is located opposite the stepped seating area to the left of the entrance. The door is 80 cm wide. The lift is currently out of service.

You can use the lift in Building s.D to reach the rooms on the upper floors of Building s.E. Turn left when exiting the lift. At the end of the corridor, turn left again. You will then pass through two consecutive doors (77 cm wide), after which you will re-enter Building s.E. For one of these doors you need your staff or student card. Visitors can contact the Infrastructure Department to request access.

Accessible parking space 

The underground parking can be accessed via Grote Kauwenberg, near number 16. Staff can access this parking using their badge. Visitors or students must request an access code in advance from the Infrastructure Department. There is one designated parking space for persons with disabilities (see photo at the bottom of this page), located close to the lift to the ground floor.

Wheelchair-accessible toilet

There is an accessible toilet in the ground-floor facilities, near the passage to Buildings s.B and s.D. The door is 79 cm wide, with a maximum turning circle of 110 cm. The toilet is fitted with two grab rails, one of which is foldable. The small sink is wheelchair-accessible.
