Wrap up events in Antwerp and Lubumbashi

In Antwerp we organized a Driving Change wrap up event on 24 June 2025. Apart from communicating the project results, we opened the photo exhibition Congo's Cobalt by Nathan Bushiru and Hadassah Arian.

In Lubumbashi we organized a wrap up event on 1 October 2025, as well as the photo exhibition Congo's Cobalt. This event was organized in collaboration with the VLIRUOS interuniversity partnership with Université de Lubumbashi.

There exist a multitude of ethical supply chain initiatives for minerals. Yet small-scale mineral producers are often unaware of their existence, of how they function, or of how they can impact their work and lives. We have worked with a Lubumbashi-based Congolese visual artist, Melissa Jina, to provide short, clear and accessible information to small-scale producers in Congolese mines, in both French and Swahili (you can view these documents above).
