MONDO aims to create a social network for foreign staff members, PhD and degree students and their family members. We want to strengthen social cohesion in our university and help all foreign students and staff become better acquainted with the country in which they live and work by undertaking activities together.
Throughout the year MONDO will organise monthly social activities targeted at international staff and students. Think of guided city tours, musea, bicycle tours,...
At the same time, we will also inform you of other social and cultural activities organised by the university that may be of particular interest to you. Via this network existing activities from, for example, the culture or sports department are made known to international staff and students in an adapted way.
Next to this we also want to involve any family members to specific events.
This all in the context of getting to know the Belgian culture but also give others the opportunity to learn about your culture. Most important, the main goal is meeting new (international) people to broaden your social netwerk while living in Belgium!
MONDO is a joint initiative of the International Staff Office, the International Students Office and the Antwerp Doctoral School of UAntwerp.
